Made by Deutsche Waffen Maschinenfabriken (DWM) the Luger Carbine was a rare form of the Luger pistol marketed for the light rifle market.  Manufactured from 1902 up to the 1930’s, the Luger Carbine was mostly chambered for the rare and mysterious 7.62X21 Luger Auto, aka .30 Luger. Their most notable features are the detachable buttstock, elongated barrel, and added forward grip. They were only manufactured in limited production runs and today are among the rarest and most sought after Luger firearms on the collectors market.
