Other work by him found here (http://www.craftsmanshipmuseum.com/ronnie2.htm)
Scaramanga’s Golden Gun
Comprised of a pen for a barrel, cigarette lighter for the breech, cuff link for the trigger, and cigarette case for the grip, it was featured in the film “The Man with the Golden Gun” which was based on the book of the same title by Ian Fleming.
In Ian Fleming’s novel, the Golden Gun was originally a long-barreled, gold-plated, single-action Colt Peacemaker that fired silver jacketed bullets with gold cores. But was changed for convenience of concealabilty for the character played by Christoper Lee.
It is arguably the first real pimped out gun to find it’s way into popular culture.
Colt RK TALO Edtion
The RK stands for Rudolf Kornbrath, a legendary firearms engraver from the 1930’s. TALO Distributors Inc. had a special run of 300 Colt 1911 pistols made and each was engraved by master engraver Ben Lane, who has modeled his work after Rudolf Kornbrath. Not sure what the going price is on these since they don’t show up for sale too often.
Limited Edition Walther P99
A special run of pistols during the 100th anniversary for the factory. I believe these were only for the German market. Heavy engraving on the metal slide with 24K gold inlay. The P99 is chambered in 9mm with a 15+1 capacity. This one is definitely more of a collector’s piece than anything else.
